You will be an integral part of the team that works with the business to comprehend their needs, developing web applications and risk-related software packages to help the company expand and scale. Working alongside a senior developer you will be responsible for developing a client-facing web application and internal risk-related software packages.
What you’ll do
- Improve and maintain the client facing web application.
- Design and implement new features that enhance the user experience
- Work with the development and risk team to implement client request and bug fixes.
- Support future expansion and growth
- Take a proactive approach to innovating and improving the web application.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or design
- Experience developing in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other frontend programming languages. It is beneficial if you have used React.js but if not, you will be taught that in this role.
- Python basic data manipulation ability or willingness to learn
- An artistic mind with a willingness to understand and learn UX/UI and designs
- Self-starter who can work on tasks with minimal supervision
Desirable skills
- Familiarity of any backend programming language
- Familiarity with design-related programs such as Figma, Balsamiq, and others.
- Finance and risk management are areas of interest or experience.
