Data & Advanced Analytics Specialist - Thames Valley - UK 

Would you like the opportunity to work for an end user who are a market leader and household name across Europe? They have received sign-off on a new data & analytics roadmap. Our customer is currently looking for Senior Data & Advanced Analytics experts to flourish in the role of designing, developing, and delivering the future. A goal for this company is to become renowned for its advanced analytics solutions and transformation into a data-driven enterprise.

Day to Day:

• Demonstrating the importance and benefits of data and analytics to stakeholders, and bringing them on a new advanced analytics journey
• Selling the values of Data and Advanced Analytics
• Drive strategy and leadership of the new data and analytics road map
• Equal 50/50 spilt between the functional and technical (hands-on building)
• Developing Advanced Analytics solutions for forecasting future demand and driving new business initiatives
• Dedication to delivering analytical and visualisation outcomes
• Developing a data and analytics incubator to fast-track solutions (in typically a 3 week timescale – in an agile manner) to showcase capability into day to day products
• Build KPI and testing capabilities to drive RoI

Skills/Experience Required:

• Someone from a Consultancy background (highly desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of building relationships and liaising with stakeholders
• Ability to bring stakeholders on a new journey
• Advance analytics experience: predictive modelling, statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.
• Tableau, Teradata, Alteryx or similar (Powe BI, Click etc.)
• Python, R and advanced SQL
• Exposure to a large-scale data warehousing and/or data lakes
• Experience migrating to the cloud and building data lakes would be advantageous
